Olesya Rulin! She’s rulin’ the big screen and making it big, but staying humble through it all! We got to talk with this fabulous chick about her life, her charities, her career and, of course, High School Musical 3!

Relate: Do you like filming for the big screen or ]TV better? Were there any perks in this filming that weren’t in the others?

Olesya: In the third film I definitely sing a lot more. I am not very comfortable singing, I do it when forced! LOL! I enjoy it, but it is something very new to me. Because Kenny Ortega and the wonderful music producers we worked with encouraged me to sing, a lot of my vocal talent has come out.

Relate: Are there any surprises that you are excited about?

Olesya: You know what?… Regardless, I just like telling a great story, so if I am given the opportunity to do so I just want to do it 110%. If it is a great script and a great story line, I don’t really care where it is shown. Any perks? Hmm. Let’s see. No, not really. Oh, we did have a little kiddie pool, that was pretty cool! LOL! While working in Utah in the trailers, it got really hot, so Vanessa
and Zack had this idea to get a cheap kiddie pool, so we did and filled it up and all sat around it with lawn chairs dipping our feet in. It was really fun!

Relate: In what ways did this film push you out of your comfort zone that the other 2 films didn’t?

Olesya: No! LOL! There are tons of surprises and I think a lot of our audience members are going to be blown away at the level of performances (dancing, singing, acting) and plot points. We did a great job and the writer did a very good job writing it. It was very well done so I hope everyone enjoys it. The anticipation must go on!
