Guys! There are some who drive you crazy, some who make you weak in the knees, some with the killer smile, and some with the terrible acne. And while they come in all different sizes, with different personalities, ideals, dreams and talents, it’s not hard to admit there are a lot of Bozos out there. And the last thing you need is one in your life as your man.
Jackie Kendall, president of Power to Grow Ministries and coauthor of Lady in Waiting, has put together a book to help you steer clear of Bozo and wait for your equivalent of the biblical Boaz, husband to Ruth. A Man Worth Waiting For: How to Avoid a Bozo is a solid book for the spiritually minded. Written in an easy to read, well-organized format, Kendall is able to draw the reader in. Her sound words of wisdom and advice on finding your MWWF (man worth waiting for) will keep you flipping the pages, and writing in the margins.
First and foremost the author explains how finding a Boaz today is truly possible. Your Boaz is out there. She recommends you first work at becoming Ruth, so as to attract your personal Boaz.
Not sure if this is a book for you…. Consider this: Kendall defines a Bozo as having some of the following characteristics; he lusts instead of loves, he doesn’t respect purity, he measures you and other girls by externals, he’s got bad friends he’s dangerous and deceptive. He doesn’t listen, disregards consequences to his actions and expects you to prove your love. Does that sound like anyone you know? Pick up the book, take the time to read it through carefully and you’ll be on your way to finding that MWWF.
