Our lovely twitter follower @sillyyak11 asked us which was better Twilight or Harry Potter. We got to thinking… there are things to love about both series. It’s just so hard to pick. So we put the question to a twitter poll and here’s what we got:

67% of you prefer Twilight to Harry Potter.

Overall, we’re currently obsessed with Twilight due to the fact that it’s newer. But Harry Potter is much more creative and the writing is slightly better. Still, who can resist Edward and Jacob?

@sillyyak11: I’m a HP fan for sure. Have been since I was 7 when it came out. It’s been apart of my childhood. The books are amazing and the movie follows the book really well. Twilight isn’t bad but it’s not the best. The movie was awful and awkward but the book was really good and better then expected! Maybe with a new director the next movie will be better. And they’ll have a bigger budget too so we’ll see. [Editor’s note: We have high hopes for the bigger budget. Hopefully this time it won’t look like Edward was dipped in a vat of glitter.]

@LOLitsGwen: Twilight is okay but very overrated, HP is well written and a much better story.
