The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure just took place in Saint Louis. And since 2005, over one million people in the world have participated in the Race for the Cure to raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. This year, over 28000 people gathered together downtown Saint Louis on Saturday, June 13, to run and walk to celebrate those who survived and to honor those who lost the battle with breast cancer.

The Ryde, a clothing line launched in Laguna Beach in 2002, partnered with Boarding For Breast Cancer to host the Charitee T-shirt Design Competition and found the winning design for this year’s Race for the Cure. The winning design “Another Name” by artist Matthew Allen was printed and being sold along with other products of The Ryde. $5 from each shirt sold will be donated directly to Boarding For Breast Cancer to raise breast cancer awareness. So when you wear this shirt, be proud because you’re wearing it for a good cause. Plus, it will never go out of fashion, because a good heart never goes out of fashion.
This not-just-a-pink shirt is available at The Ryde.

What a great shirt! At first, I wondered if I would want my 15 year old to wear it. However, with her aunt and grandma being breast cancer survivors – I think it is amazing! Think we’ll have to get one…or two!
Love the shirt! I don’t feel so guilty buying it since $5 goes to finding a cure for breast cancer! I checked out the Rhydes other t-shirts as well! They are awesome since they feature real designs by artists everywhere!
