Maybe you aren’t all as behind as we are, but just last night the web team watched this Amanda Bynes classic for the first time. Haven’t seen it? Rent it this weekend!!! Have seen it? Rent it again! (It’s a retelling of Snow White.)

Sydney White (played by Amanda Bynes) has been raised by her father, the plumber, and the other men who work on construction sites. Her mother died when she was 9 years old and Syd is therefore more tom-boy than girly-girl. Still when she goes off to college her one big wish is to make it into the same sorority her mother was a part of.
Although she is not a typical sorority girl – the only non-blonde in the group – she manages to make it through pledge week and catch the eye of the cutie frat boy (played by Matt Long). But when she is denied entrance to the sorority Sydney is forced to find a new place to stay and she ends up moving into a dilapidated house with 7 super-nerds.
She rallies the boys, brings them out of their shells, convinces them to run for student government and out the greek life students who have controlled the university for too long. But she she is betrayed by the frat boy and their nominee for student body president is rejected, Sydney has to decide if it’s time to fight back or return to her plumbing dad and construction-focused life. (One guess which she decides to do.)
