Okay, so you found the perfect guy: he is sweet, nice, good-looking and seems to have every quality you look for in a guy. It seems that your dream of dating him is about to come true until you find out he isn’t interested in dating you. (L)

Now, instead of being very satisfied and happy; you become very sad and don’t understand what you did wrong. My first advice on this type of situation is to not blame anything that happened on yourself (that’s the worst possible thing that you can do). Whatever happened to make things go wrong is most likely something you have no control over and wouldn’t be able to change at all even if you tried. If this happens, you must also keep your cool and don’t do anything stupid that would hurt your relationship with the boy even more. Instead, remain casual and upbeat with the particular guy if you want to have a chance with him in the future.

He might come to his senses and realize what a gem he’s passed up. (yay!) Trust me: If the guy is ever interested, he will be the first to tell you about it, besides maybe his good friends, of course. Then again, he may act as if you don’t exist (L). Be willing to accept either situation with understanding, even though you probably don’t. If you are still interested in him later down the road, don’t bring up the issue of dating again (this will show your impatience). My best advice is that you should never let a situation like this deter you from being who you really are. Just because one guy in the entire world (there are about 3,324,047,000 guys on this earth!) is not interested in you, doesn’t mean that all the other guys aren’t. Live life to the fullest and always keep a positive attitude and trust me: you will find a guy that’s right for you!
