When I was younger and even now, I love waking up early on Christmas morning to watch the holiday parades. I would sit there for hours, eating cinnamon rolls and watching my favorite celebrities as they sang and rode on their floats while others just waved to the crowd. I even had a dream one day of riding on a float singing my new hit single or favorite Christmas song.
This year will be a little different. Instead of watching the parade on Christmas morning, I will have to tape it. It will still be a great parade to watch, and I am sure you will not want to miss it. So mark your calenders, set your TV to tape it (at the very least!) and enjoy the parade.
The Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade 2009 will air on Friday, December 25 at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST, on ABC.
Kelly Ripa, Ryan Seacrest and “America’s Got Talent” host, Nick Cannon, will be hosting the Christmas Day Parade.
The Disney Parks Christmas Parade has a wonderful and talented line-up for all ages. Some celebrities you could be seeing during the parade are:
Celine Dion is one of the singers listed to perform. She will be singing “Don’t Save it All for Christmas” and “O’ Come All Ye Faithful,” which is one of my favorites.

Stevie Wonder will be singing “What Christmas Means to Me.”
The Jonas Brothers will be singing “Summertime Anthem.”

Selena Gomez will be making a guest appearance. I am not 100% sure, but I don’t think she will be singing, which is kind of a downer, but at least she will be on.
The voice of Princess Tiana, Anika Noni Ros, in the movie “The Princess and the Frog” will also be singing, but she has a surprise with her song. The surprise, “Dancing with the Stars” pros – - Tony Dovolani and Cheryl Burke!! Awesome!

The one that I can’t wait to see is Demi Lovato. She will be singing “Wonderful Christmas Time.”
American Idol winner Kris Allen, will be singing “Rockin Around the Christmas Tree.”
Steve Rushton will also be performing. He will be singing the classic “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”
There will be many more surprises!!
If you tune into Radio Disney on December 25 (9 am ET/6 am PT), you will be able to hear special interviews with the Jonas Brother, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Meaghan Martin. Ladies, don’t miss this…and have a wonderful Christmas!
