Want your hair to look like Demi Lovato’s from her video “Don’t Forget?” Here’s how to get these awesome curl waves!

You’ll need: heat protecting spray, wide barrel curling iron, curl enhancing gel or cream and hairspray

• Mist clean, dry, brushed hair with a heat protection spray before beginning.
• Take two-inch sections of hair and run the curling iron straight down the strands, stopping just before you reach the bottom to prevent frayed, ugly ends. This step actually helps hold curl and gives you a glossy look.
• Once you’ve straigtened the two-inch strand, start at an inch from the root and twist the iron once so the hair wraps around. Move the iron two inches down and twist again. Hold momentarily and release. Repeat on the entire head.
• Separate curls gently with your fingers and then apply a curl-enhancing gel or cream with your fingers (“finger comb” it) to hold the curls in place.
• Apply an SPF hairspray to protect those follicules from the sun and hold the style better in humidity.
