The smells and tastes of the season are upon us. Just thinking about the turkey roasting, potatoes mashing and pumpkin pie baking puts a smile on my face! I ventured into my local drug store on the hunt for seasonal beauty products that remind me of Thanksgiving. Not only will these products keep you smelling and looking fabulous, they won’t stray from your budget.

Just say YES

The new Yes line stands out on the drug store shelf with its colorful packaging. The products combine organic fruits and vegetables (carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers) with 26 minerals from the Dead Sea. The Yes To Tomatoes Totally Tranquil Facial Hydrating Lotion ($14.99) also combines rosemary and red pepper. I’ll admit I got a little hungry reading the ingredients! The smell is light and fresh, not overpowering. The carrot and cucumber products also have a delightful fragrance. The line has everything from volumizing shampoo to night cream.

Merlot Line

Nothing completes a big meal like a bottle of wine. At the beauty counter inside my local Walgreen’s, this elegant line of skin treats caught my eye. The Merlot Natural Grape Seed Purifying Peel-Off Mask ($14.99) is perfect for getting rid of those blackheads. I love the way peel-off masks feel – and they don’t make a huge mess. Also, look for the Merlot 100% Pure Grape Seed Oil for repairing cuticles and softening skin.

Pumpkin Spice

It was hard to find any products using pumpkin at the drug store. I checked out the Philosophy website because they always have yummy treats for the season.
