The Day After Tomorrow
by Sandee Sgarlata
This little book packs a powerful message about forgiveness. It is a short story in the first person form which resembles a journal entry. It chronicles a few short days in the life of fictional character Julia Monroe. Julia typifies the modern-day teen girl-critical, obsessed over body image and annoyed with her parents. As a result of a difficult situation, Julia learns how forgiveness of others, as well as herself, can lead to joy and peace.
We know this is vague, but you’ve just got to read the book! Check it out!
