Camelia Chameleon is a normal 16 year-old girl. She goes to a great high-school, has good grades, gets a long with her parents and works at a great job at Knead, which is an art studio that is downtown. She also has two great friends, Kimmie and Wes that care a lot about her. Well that is until the new guy Ben Carter starts going to her school. The rumor has it that he murdered his last girlfriend. Even thought most of the students at the school believe it, along with her friends, Camelia refuses to believe the rumors. Even though she likes Ben, she starts to doubt herself a little when she starts getting odd packages and threatening notes in her mail box and threatening calls. Ben is also acting strange. He is saying that she is in trouble and that he wants to help her. What is Ben hiding? How does he know she is in trouble? Is he the one that is stalking her? Is he going to hurt her like his last girlfriend?
“Deadly Little Secret,” which is written by the talented author Laurie Faria Stolarz, is a wonderful book. It has been one of the best suspenseful books we have read lately. One where you will not want to put to put it down, even when it is bed time. The author pulls you along for the ride of the story from the first page. “Deadly Little Secret” will keep you guessing about who is really stalking Camelia until the very end. This is one book where you will not be wasting your time reading. You will not want this book to end. We can not wait to read the next set of books in the “Touch” series.
