There are many creative things that you can put on your wall. So we decided that it was time for a do it yourself craft that cover some of the bare spots on your wall.
For this craft we used:
Wood Shaped Hearts. You will need enough to spell out your name.
Sparkly Glitter Glue
Ribbon
Red and Black paint.
Glue (Any type that will work for fabric)
The first thing you will want to do is paint both sides, front and back, of the heart with the red paint. You will probably need to use more than one coat of pain.
Then after it dries, you will want to pick the best side of the heart, then you trace around each heart with the sparkly glitter glue.
You leave that set for a few hours or a day to be safe, than you have free hand your first letter of your name on the first heat, than continue with the letters from you name on the other hearts. For example, if your name is Beth then you out the “B” on the first heart, then the “E” on another heart, the “T” on another and so on.
Then it is time for the ribbon. There are many ways to attach the ribbon, but we used wood glue. So cut a long enough piece of ribbon that you can glue it and still hang it on your wall. More than likely you will want to cut the prices of ribbon the same length, but you do not have to. You can change it up.
After the ribbon has been cut, you turn over the heart to the side that does not have your name on it and glue one end of the ribbon to the top right hand of the heart, and the other to the top left hand of the heart.
Let it dry, than hang it on your wall.
Remember to ask your parents before decorating. Use your imagination and have fun.
Happy decorating!
