Recently Relate got to interview up and coming singer Aaron Fresh. Continue to read and learn more about him.
R: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
A. I was born in Chicago, but I was raised in Trinidad, and moved LA when I was 16.
R: What do you do in your spare time?
A: I like to go to the movies, play soccer, facebook, twitter, and of course listen to music!
R: How long have you been singing? Did you always know that you wanted to become a singer?
A: I started singing at the age of 8. There was always music around the house. I always knew I wanted to be a singer.
R: Do you play any musical instruments? If so, how long have you been playing?
A: I play a little guitar and I used to play the steel pan (steel drum) in Trinidad.
R: Tell us about meeting Nick Cannon.
A: Well my producer Reo, set up a day for us to meet, and after two weeks when it didn’t happen I was like, this is never gonna happen. Then, one day Nick walked in and I was playing it cool on the outside, but on the inside I was crazy excited! I mean, it was Nick Cannon. So, I sang for him and within 5 minutes he was like, let’s do this!

R: I read that you co-wrote some of you songs. What is your song writing process? How do you come up with the ideas for your songs?
A: Sometimes I may have an idea and we’ll start working around that or I’ll hear a track that the melody just jumps out at me from. Song ideas come from different experiences and things like that.
R: What is your favorite song to perform and why?
A: “Spending All My Time”. I like when the audience sings along with me. And, the choreography is pretty fun too!
R: Where can people get your music?
A: You can get my music on iTunes, and youtube has a lot of my videos as well.
