Ramona and Beezus Hits Theaters

There are many great movies that will be coming out this year, but we are excited about this new movie that came out this past weekend. The movie stars “Wizard of Waverly Place” singer/actress 18 year-old Selena Gomez and the adorable actress Joey King. The movie is the long awaited “Ramona and Beezus,” which will be in the theaters on Friday, July 23.
“Ramona and Beezus” is a film adaptation of the books by favorite children’s author Beverly Cleary. The movie is direct by Elizabeth Allen, who also directed “Aquamarine.” The screenplay is by Laurie Craig, who helped write “Ella Enchanted,” and Nick Pustay.
According to actress Joey King, in a Relate interview, ‘“Ramona and Beezus” is about a girl who is trying to help her family. Things don’t always go how she plans and it usually is funny. ..” So Ramona sets out to save her family’s home. Can Ramona help save their house or does everything go wrong with her plans?
