If you are looking for a great family friendly movie this summer, you may want to think about the movie “Ramona and Beezus.”

When Ramona and Beezus’s dad gets laid off at work, their mom goes and gets a job. With the fear of losing their house, Ramona sets out to find ways to make money so she can help her family out—no matter how her plans work out.

As Ramona, Joey King stole the movie. She was adorable and funny, and she will make you fall in love with Ramona again. Joey King, who is already a talent actress, will soon find her way to becoming a successful actress that you will want to keep your eyes on. She is the perfect Ramona! As for her sister Beezus, Selena Gomez is a perfect fit. They both seemed to bond to make their sister relationship in the movie work. Even thought there were a few tear jerking moments, this feel good movie will leave you smiling as you walk out of the theater doors.

Not only was the acting great in this movie, but the film was wonderfully written. It will keep you guessing about what will happen to Ramona’s family up until the end.

If you are looking for a cute movie, you can not go wrong with “Ramona and Beezus.” This is a must see family friendly movie, that will make you want to know, when will there be a sequel.

But… Just a heads up, before you leave, you may want to stay through at least some of the credits or all of them. Later on during the credits there are a few more dancing scenes, and you will be able to hear Selena Gomez’ song for the movie “Live Like There is No Tomorrow.”
