It has been 2 years since Taylor Swift’s album “Fearless” had hit the stores. That album alone sold more than 3.2 millions copies in the U.S in 2009. Her fans have been patiently waiting for a new album from this gifted singer and songwriter. Our wait is almost over. So start marking out the days on your calendar.
On October 25, 2010, Taylor will be releasing her new album “Speak Now.” Her first single from the album is “Mine,” which will be hit the air ways on Monday. August 16, 2010. This will be Taylor’s third studio album. She co-produced it with Nathan Chapman, who has produced both “Taylor Swift” and “Fearless.”
The album is suppose to have 14 tracks. Three of those tracks are “Speak Now” “Mine” and “Sparks Fly.” All of the songs were written by Taylor Swift herself—there were no co-writers. Taylor said on a live webcast that took place on July 20th, “I actually wrote all the songs myself for this record. It didn’t really happen on purpose. It just sort of happened…to happen that way. Like, I’d get my best ideas at 3:00 AM in Arkansas, and I didn’t have a co-writer around and I would just finish it.”
Taylor has also mentioned that she will tour after the album comes out, but there is no set dates yet. We will keep you updated, when we find out any more information about her up and coming tour.
So mark you calendar and start saving money because October 25 will be here soon. But until then, Taylor’s first single from the album, “Mine,” will premier on the 16th of August. We can not wait.
