Recently, I had the honor of interview actress Jadin Gould. Continue to read and learn about this talented
young actress.

R: Tell us a little bit about how you got into acting? What age where you?

J: I began working at age four. I lived in Miami at the time and started with smaller projects like commercials
and print ads. Eventually my mother found an agent and I began going out on auditions.

R: What did your family and friends think about you getting into acting?

J: I’m very fortunate that my family and friends are so supportive. We all get excited when I begin working on
a project and when comes out, whether it be a television show or film, they all make sure to go see it and then
call me and tell me how much they loved it! It is a great feeling knowing that people that believe in you.

R: Tell us about your up and coming movie “Battle: Los Angeles,” and about your character Amy?

J: I still can’t say too much but it is really going to be a great film! There is so much action, it is sure to be a
crowd pleaser. Since I’m only 12, I am so honored that they chose me to play Amy. I can’t believe I had a
chance to work with some of the industry’s biggest names like Aaron Eckhart, Bridget Moynahan and Michelle
Rodriguez. In the film, ‘Amy’ is Bridget’s character’s niece and we are trying to stay safe from an alien
invasion on Los Angeles.

R: How did you learn about this role? What was the audience process like?

J: I’m very lucky to have such a great team behind me. My manager and agents work very hard to find really
amazing and appropriate roles. For this specific project I went in and read for ‘Amy’ and was filmed for the
producers to watch. I received a call back for the role and then met and read with the director. It is hard when
you are in the audition process because you just want to sit by the phone and wait for them to call!

R: How did you find out that you got the role? Tell us about it.

J: It was really neat because my manager called my mom’s phone and asked to speak with me. When I got on
the phone she told me, “Jadin, get your suitcases packed because you booked ‘Battle: Los Angeles’!” I was
speechless! Once it hit me that it was real, I began crying because I was so excited.

R: What was it like working with Bridget Moynahan, Michelle Rodriguez and Aaron Eckhart?

J: It was such an honor. They are all so amazing and I’d love to follow in the footsteps of their careers. All of
them were so kind and positive and all gave me great advice to stay focused on my goals and always be true to
myself.

R: I read that you did some of your own stunts. What was your favorite stunt to do?

J: I got to repel about 30feet off of a rooftop!! I was so scared at first but after I did it the first time I realized
it was actually a lot of fun! I had to do it several times because they had to film it from different angles, it was
great.

R: How do you prepare yourself for a role?

J: I read the script several times and then look at how the character is built. It is important to have a solid
understanding of not only the character but the overall story so you can understand all elements that go into the
role so that I can be as believable as possible.

R: If you would work with anyone in the world who would it be? Also, if you could make a quest appearance
on any show, which one would it be?

J: Wow that is a tough question. There are so many talented people in the entertainment industry I’d love to
work with but if I had to say anyone Rachel McAdams or Sandra Bullock. I’d also love to work with Steven
Spielberg. I think it would be really fun to do an animated film with someone like Ash Brannon, ‘Surf’s Up 2’
is one of my favorites!

A show that I’d like to work on would have to be ‘Wizards of Waverly Place.’ It is one of my absolute
favorites.

R: What has been your most “star struck” moment? Who was it and tell us a little bit about it?

J: ‘Star struck,’ I don’t know if I’ve ever truly been star struck. I think if I met Selena Gomez I’d get really
excited!

R: What is the best advice you have ever gotten and by who?

J: It was really great to get advice from the other actors on set of ‘Battle: Los Angeles,’ but my parents always
tell me, ‘remember who you are, be respectful of others and always stay true to yourself.’ Their advice will
help me stay grounded and never forget where I came from!

R: What advice would you give teenage girls?

J: It is important to always be confident in yourself, not just your appearance but your actions. Knowing your
importance and believing in yourself will allow you to face your fears and follow your dreams. You can be
anything you want as long as you work hard!

R: Tell us about “Clothes Off Our Back” and “The Los Angeles Mission.”

J: ‘Clothes Off Our Back,’ is a great organization that allows celebrities to donate items for auction. All of the
money is then donated to charities that benefit children. ‘The Los Angeles Mission,’ is another organization I
work with that is based here in LA, which reaches out to help with the homeless community.

R: What are some of your future goals?

J: I love acting and definitely want to make this a long-term career in films and television. I would like to
attend university or college eventually because education is important but I’ve got to get through high school
first!

R: What do you like to do in your spare time?

J: I like being with my friends! I’m taking guitar lessons now because I’ve always wanted to learn how to play.
I’m also part of a soccer team and enjoy spending time with my family.

R: What singers and bands do you listen to? What is your favorite song by each one?

J: I really like Selena Gomez, I can’t think of just one song because I like so much of her stuff! I really
like ‘Magic’ by B.o.B!

R: Do you have an official website? If so, what is the address? Are you on any social networking sites? If so,
what are their addresses?

R: Other than this one, what is the strangest question you have ever been asked?

J: Who is your celebrity crush? Someone asked me that a few months ago, I haven’t even thought about it! I’m
only 12!!

R: Is there anything else you would like to add or say to your fans?

J: Thank you for your support and I always love hearing from you!! I really hope that you all are as excited
about ‘Battle: Los Angeles’ as I am!

R: Jadin, thank you for the interview. It was an honor.

J: Thank you for having me! It was my pleasure!
