Comic books are not just for superheroes like Superman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman
and X-men, but now for celebrities and other influential people But they are not just
comic books—stories that are made up, but biography comics—biographies that are in
the form of comic books.

Bluewater Productions Inc has come out with two new titles to their line of “Fame”
biography comic books. The two new biography comic books that they have added to
there long line of comic books are “Fame: Taylor Swift” and “Fame: Kristen Stewart,”
which are currently out. Both of these “Fame” titles are 32 pages.

For the bio comic book “Fame: Taylor Swift” the story follows Taylor as she tries to get
her demo heard thru her Grammy wins for “Fearless.” Co-writer CW Cooke said in a
repress release, “Learning about Taylor’s life from the beginning until now made her feel
like more than just the next big thing, it made me see the pop icon as a human being.”

Then for “Fame: Kristen Stewart,” writer Kim Sherman said in a press release “For
Twilight fans, Kristen Stewart is a woman whom fans long to be and love to hate. But
Kristen has been in the public eye for years, and her career as a serious actor spans
dozens of films over a 10-year period of time. My goal with this biography was to show
readers the depth residing in this young woman and the roles she’s tackled.”

I’m not usually  the movie premier kind of girl, but I had to make an exception for “New Moon” last night. Sitting in a theatre packed with “Twilight Saga” fans for 2 hours  before the movie began at midnight was almost torturous, and I hoped it would be worth it. Like most Twilight fans, I’m in love with the books, but the first movie was somewhat of a disappointment for me. It strayed from the book too much, leaving out the detailed process of how Bella and Edward actually fell in love. I also couldn’t get past Kristen Stewart’s akward acting. I’d  hoped that the new “New Moon” director Chris Weitz could nail this second installment better then the first director, and man did he ever!

“You know, my aim from the beginning was to kind of do a faithful adaptation of the book and something that the fans of the books would appreciate,” said Weitz. “And it feels very good.”

Well Chris, you nailed it – big time! Whatever you hoped for the second movie, it is that and so much more!  I left the theatre with no disappointments whatsoever and wondering when I could find the time to go see it again! The loud, excited chatter from the audience leaving the theatre was right along with me. “It was amazing….that was so much better than the first…..Jacob is so hot!”.  Kristen Stewart, Rob Pattinson and Taylor Lautner  lived up to their characters as well as Stephenie Meyer wrote them. I give “New Moon” 10 thumbs up!
