Chit Chatting with Singer Matt Moseley

Written by Jill Sheets

Recently I had the honor of interview dancer Matt Moseley. Some of you may have seen him in Sia’s music video for the hit song “The Greatest.”  Matt is trained in jazz, hip-hop, tap, and even swing. This multitalented young man can also sing and act. Read on and learn more about him, what it was like working with Sia (and Ariana Grande) and about his EP.

R: Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got into the entertainment business.

M: I can’t really say the day I remember starting in the entertainment business, because it was so long ago! I’ve been apart of this business since as long as I can remember.

R: What were your parents’ reactions when they found out you wanted to perform?

M: They’re both very loving, supportive, and forgiving parents. Almost all the time, I’m being told how proud they are, but they try and make sure they’re not too involved in my own career since they both have their own lives and matters to worry about.

R: You where featured as a dancer in Sia’s recent music video for her song “The Greatest.” Tell us about that. What was like working with Sia?

M: You can’t imagine just how much fun the filming and downtime process was. So many memories were made during that time. I remember we had to get our heads shaved almost hours before the shoot, and I was the first to volunteer! It may not seem too crazy, but to have to lose all your hair that fast in that short amount of time is quite a lot to handle. Sia was (and is) a phenomenal woman, though. Her smile completely brightens a room, her personality is one of a kind, and she has the mindset to be only creative. She’s a wonderful woman and loves all people.

R: You also have been on some network shows. Which shows have you been on?

M: Some shows you might’ve seen me on recently are critically acclaimed shows like So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, The Voice, and many others!

R: Not only do you dance, but you are an actor and singer. Tell us about your cover of Jack Miller’s “Dazed and Confused.”

M: The process of filming the video was very fun and a huge learning process. I got to understand the way that the filmmaking process works and it was quite interesting. My co-star was very easy and fun to work around. We’ve actually been apart of the same dance team studio in the past!

R: Do you have plans on recording an album or EP?

M: I’ve been working on a couple of originals. I have a couple of melodies stuck in my head, but I definitely want to make 2017 the year that I release my first EP/album.

R: Where can people get your music?

M: I post new content on my YouTube channel about every other Friday, I have a SoundCloud page that I post almost all of my covers on, and I also put out small covers on my Instagram (link below).

R: I read that you got to work with Ariana Grande. If so, tell us about it.

M: For the past couple of winter seasons, I’ve worked on very engaging and exciting Disney-styled panto productions with a couple of A-list celebrities–Ariana Grande, Olivia Holt, and Jordan Fisher to name a few. I got the chance to work and partner with them, and they are just fantastic! They’re extremely talented people with amazing personalities and I’m looking forward to working more with this company in the future!

R: What are some of your upcoming projects?

M: I recently got the opportunity to sign with the social media/TV/movie production company, AwesomenessTV! They’re helping me achieve my dream and work with some of the artists I look up to. I also recently competed in an episode of a popular dance show called Dance Off Juniors on the DanceOn app!

R: Do you have a girlfriend? What do you look for in one?

M: The main thing in a girl that I look for is honesty, reliability, humor, trust, and understanding no matter what situations you both may face.

R: Who has been your biggest influence?

M: Coming from a teenage boy this might sound clichéd, but I truly believe that Justin Bieber has been a very large influence, not only for me, but for boys and girls around the world who want to spread their talents.

R: What are five things people may not know about you?

M: I have a really excellent talent for impressions, I practiced the art of Tai Kwon Do when I was younger, I have three very adorable and quite yippy dogs, I’ve been dancing all styles professionally for over fourteen years, and I’ve also starred in a couple of major short films during my early teen years.

R: Other than this one, what is the strangest question you have ever been asked?

M: It’s not a super odd question, but at the time I thought it was borderline strange and I still do. I was picking out a toothbrush from the store because I had to replace my old one, and this guy comes up to me and asks me what color toothbrush I used. I kind of just stood there for a moment and was just taken back, then I responded, but that was probably the strangest question I’ve ever been asked.

R: Are you on any social networking sites? If so, which ones and what are their addresses? Do you have an official website and/or YouTube page?

M: All of my social media tags are the same across all platforms. Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube. They’re all @realmattmoseley.

R: Is there anything else you would like to add or say to your fans?

M: I want to just say to every single person that’ll come across to meet me, and find out more about me, that I thank you for your continued support, and that with most of my career, it wouldn’t work without any of you all being there for me. Thank you all, and much love.

R: Matt, thank you for the interview. Have a great day.

M: Thank you very much, it was a pleasure talking to you! Have a good day as well!

Twin Inspiration: Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio

onmyownWhat’s better than inspiring girls that share a great message in a beautiful way?! We were so excited to learn about Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio and their fabulous song “On My Own.” We had to chat with these lovely ladies to find out more about them and their careers in entertainment!

Check out their music video…

R: Tell us about yourself and how you got in the entertainment business?

Bianca: Well we are twins; I’m older by 2 minutes. We have lived in Los Angeles our whole life.

Chiara: We got into the entertainment business, when a casting agent saw us in our stroller in Malibu and told our mom that we should audition for some roles. 3 weeks later, we were cast as Summer Newman on the Young and the Restless.

R: You have been in many TV Shows and Movies? Tell us a little about them and which one has been your all-time favorite so far?

Chiara: We loved the Young and the Restless, but we were a little too young and probably too restless to really appreciate the experience. Parks and Recreations was really cool. We worked with the super funny Jim Jeffries on legit.

Bianca: I loved working on Criminal Minds. We really loved working on See Dad Run with Scott Baio & Ryan Newman. It was fun working on the Jeselnik Offensive because I got to show that I could do improv.

C: We really loved working with Ray Wise, who played our grandfather in Reflections. We recently shot a pilot that we are hoping gets picked up.

R: If you could work with any five actors and/or actresses who would that be?

Bianca & Chiara: Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Aniston, Laura Marano & Dove Cameron

R: Tell us a little bit about your up and coming EP and when should it be out?

Bianca: Our self-titled EP was release on 09/23/2014. It’s six songs about relationships and things we believe in. Our video “Let your Light Shine”, our anti bullying anthem has 1.5 million hits on youtube.

Chiara: “Package Deal” is about the relationship between the two of us. “Best Friend” is about our rescue dog Max. “On Our Own” is about the inner strength that we all have.

R: where can people get your music?

Chiara: ITunes, Amazon, Spotify. You can get our music in other outlets.

R: Tell us about the “Let Your Light Shine” T-Shirt and where can you get it?

B: Our antibullying t-shirt can be found on our website,

R: Tell us about the Seth Walsh Foundation, and how did you get involved with this Charity?

C: Seth Walsh was a young man that took his life after relentless bullying. What happened to him is just so wrong the question should not be why we got involved, but why aren’t more people taking a stand against bullying.

R: What is the best part about being a twin?

C: You might think having someone with you all the time isn’t great, but having constant companion a best friend, who can share everything with you is the greatest thing you can have. But, actually it’s so we can wear each others’ clothes.

R: What are you future goals?

B: We want to stay in the entertainment business, continue our acting and keep making music. Maybe someday I can even be a director.

R: What advice would you give someone who wanted to be an actress and/or singer?

B: Take classes in music and acting. Get vocal coaching and work on your “stuff”. Never give up on your dreams.

R: Who has been your biggest influence so far?

C: I have to say our parents; they work hard and never give up on helping our dreams come true.

R: Other than this one, what is the strangest question you have ever been asked?

B: Is this your twin sister? Are you twins?

R: What are five things people may not know about you?

C: We are 100% from Italian heritage, we come from a large family, we love to ski and play tennis. We cry every time there is a dog commercial for the ASPCA. We love animals so much.

R: Are you on any social networking sites? If so, which ones and where can people find you?

B: We’re on Twitter, @Dambrosiotwins, Instagram, @Dambrosiotwinz

C: Our website is, Youtube is, Dambrosiotwins and our Facebook is Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio.

R: Is there anything else you would like to add, or say to your fans?

B: We want to thank our fans for all their love and support and hope they enjoy the journey with us.

Recently I got to interview singer Michael Addison.  Continue to read on and learn more about him and his music.

R:  Tell us a little bit about yourself.

M:  I’m a die-hard musician that lives life to the fullest, every moment, one second to the next.  I love traveling all over the world and staying active, whether it’s climbing Lion’s Head in South Africa or gazing at the sunset atop the Eiffel Tower.  Other times I love spending days in the studio recording new music.

Another fact people don’t know about me is that I’ve been swimming my whole life and was a Division 1 swimmer in college.  Later I won 2 USMS National Championships and currently train at UCLA.

R:  At what age did you start singing and writing music?

M:  I started writing at a very early age.  Middle school through college, I wrote endless poems and essays.  After I moved to LA I made a lot of those writings into songs.  I worked with some great music coaches to find my vocal sound and started singing my original works shortly after.

R:  Tell us about how you got discovered.

M:  When I first got started, I was playing at smaller bars and recording my shows.  I made DVDs and was passing them out to venues I wanted to perform at.  One of the DVDs ended up in the hands of a promoter who also had a radio show.  She invited me onto her show as a guest.  After I played a couple of my songs, she told me her boyfriend was a producer and I should get in touch with him to record my songs.
R:  Tell us about your album “Always You.”

M:  This is a great CD from start to finish with a wide range of moving sounds.  It’s a compilation of new songs I wrote for this album and past songs that I wanted to record and share with my fans.  Some of the song lyrics are very close to my heart, telling eventful stories that took place in my life.

R:  Tell us a little bit about it your single “Always You.”

M:  “Always You” is a song that I was very passionate about from the start.  I really wanted it to be catchy and fun.  The lyrics are about that awesome feeling when you fall in love at first sight, and you just know you’re always meant to be with that person.

R:  Where can people get your music?

M:  The best place is on iTunes.  Just type in “Michael Addison” in the search, my name and album “Always You” pop up.  My website also has a link.

R:  I also read that you were an actor.  Is that true?  If so, do you have plans to continue acting or are you just going to concentrate on your music career?

M:  Yes, I’ve been acting since High School.  I would love to continue acting, but right now I’m blessed to be working on a lot of music projects and haven’t had the time to focus on acting.  But that is something I hope to never let out of my life.

R:  What do you look for in a girlfriend?

M:  One word: FUN!  There is nothing hotter than a girl that can make me laugh.

R:  What is the best advice you have ever gotten and by who?

M: “Let the music come to you.”
-Larry Marciano (my producer)

R:  What advice would you give someone who wants to become a singer?

M:  Today a lot of people getting started in the music world are perfecting their own cover of a popular song and posting it on YouTube.  This is a great way to get notoriety and a fan base.  From there you can set up a website with videos of your performances.  Also, be sure to keep up on your live performance skills.  Find venues that have open mic nights or have local acts perform.  The most important thing to remember is never give up on yourself and your dreams!  You are the only person who can stop you from achieving anything.

R:  Do you have any charities that are close to your heart?  If so, which ones and tell us about them.

M:  My last show I worked with Harmony Project.  They are a non-profit that focus on the music development of underprivileged children.  Many schools do not have the resources to supply their students with music training and instruments.  Harmony Project provides an inspiring outlet for these gifted children.

R:  Other than this one, what is the strangest question you have ever been asked?

M: Do you bleach your teeth? (BTW, I never have)

R:  What are you future goals?

M: I’m filming a new music video for my song “Come Back to Me” and working to get it on the MTV networks in the US and Europe.  I’m also recording a new album early next year that will sound incredible, and take my music to a whole other level.  Down the line my goals include top 40 hits, Grammy’s, and my own label.

R:  Are you on any social networking sites?  If so, which ones and what are their address?  Do you have an official website?  If so, what is the address?

M: Yes, my facebook page is: and I’m on twitter @addisonmusic and my official website is

I also have a You Tube channel: where you can see my new music video for “Always You”.

R:  Is there anything else you would like to add or say to your fans?

M:  It is an absolute honor and privilege to have the fans that I do.  I worked very hard starting from nothing to find each and everyone one of you and hope to keep inspiring you everyday.  Thank you so much for all the love and support and I promise to always give you my best!

R:  Michael, thank you for the interview.  Have a great day.
