We have been blessed to know 14-year-old Hannah and her 12-year-old sister Amanda for around four years now. Watching these two talented Missouri sisters grow has been amazing. To hear them sing in church for the Christmas cantata to watching them get their patches from Awanna has been great, and we are looking forward to the years to come. But there is more to these busy sisters, and we had the honor of interviewing them.

Check out Amanda’s interview below. Read Hannah’s interview here.

Relate: Tell us about your scrapbooking?

Amanda: I enjoy scrapbooking because when I’m older I can look back at my scrapbook and remember all my childhood memories.

Relate: How long have you been scrapbooking?

Amanda:I have been scrapbooking for 2 years. I started when I was 10.

R. What made you interested in making them?

A:My friend got me started. My friend had been scrapbooking and told me that I should. I’m glad I scrapbook! It’s so much fun!

R. What type of things do you sew?

A: There are several types of things I like to sew. It’s very hard to choose, but my favorite is pillows, they’re easy, quick and are great for gifts. Over the summer I made a bag and entered it into the county fair!

R. Tell us about the hot pads you make for your family for Christmas?

A:I hand quilted a Christmas 4 patch hot pad for my grandma. They don’t take that long to make! Only 30-45 minutes!

R. How long have you been cooking? What is your favorite dish to make or bake?

A: I have been cooking since I was very little. I remember baking several things with my mom, sister and grandma when I was about 4 years old .I love to bake a lot of different things, but my favorite would have to be a hash brown casserole.

R. Who taught you how to cook?

A: My mom and Grandma taught me how to cook at a very young age. They still are helping me now.

R. You also play the violin. How long have you been playing, and why did you decide to pick the violin to play?

A: I have been playing the violin for 8 months. I decided to play the violin because my grandpa has played the fiddle his whole life and I enjoy the sound of it.

R. What other talents do you have?

A:One other talent I have is clogging. My mom, sister and I clog for the Hometown Cloggers. It’s really fun!

R. What are your future goals?

A: My future goals are to have a good job being a physical therapist when I am out of high school and college. I want to have a family and help my community.

R. Is there anything else you would like to add?

A: Over the summer, I made a clay turtle and painted it, I also attached softballs, basketballs, baseballs, footballs and volleyballs to the shell of the turtle.
