Twilight Fans. Finally there is news on who is going to play Bella’s and Edwards
daughter, and the author of the popular series, Stephenie Meyer got to break the news to
everyone.

Stephenie Meyer wrote on the “Twilight” Facebook page, “Very excited about our new
Renesmee, Mackenzie Foy. She’s an amazing young actress and I’m excited to work with
her. I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer!”

According to a MTV interview with Kristen Stewart, she had no idea about the actress
until the director called and told her, “[He] was like, ‘Wait until you see this kid. If
you and Rob had a kid, this would be it,’” Kristen told MTV News. “I was like, ‘That’s
so weird.’ She just looks like—she sort of looks like Bella. Which is absolutely right.
Although the funny thing is she has green eyes, and we both have to wear brown contacts
together.”

Makes us wonder if Mackenzie will have to wear brown contacts.

Also as of the date of the interview, Kristen had not yet got to meet her on screen
daughter, “”No, I haven’t met her yet. That sounds so weird! ‘I haven’t met my daughter
yet.’ Wow.”

They only thing is, like “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” “Breaking Dawn” will
be spilt into two parts. So more than likely, you will not be able to see Mackenzie as
Renesmee until the last installment.

Mackenzie has was also been in commercials for Comcast, Pantene, Blackberry, TGI
Fridays, Childrens Hospital, Barbie, Tea Time with Belle Doll, Kohls and Burger King.
She has also played Michelle in an episode of the “Hawaii Five-0” and as Kate Erskine
in an episode of “Flashforward.”

The first part of “Breaking dawn” is suppose to be released on November 18, 2011 and
the send half is suppose to be released on the 16th of November, 2012

We are looking forward to seeing “Breaking Dawn.” What are your thoughts on the pick

Twilight Eclipse

The third installment of “Twilight” is now out in theaters. “Eclipse” continues with the characters that you have grown to love and more that will soon enter your hearts. There is just one change to the line-up of actresses that you are use to seeing in the “Twilight” movies. There is a new Victoria, Bryce Dallas Howard.

In this new “Twilight” movie, Victoria is determined to kill Bella and who ever gets in her way. It is only fair, they did kill her mate. By making a new vampire out of Riley Biers, she begins to build her army as Riley goes around making vampires out of anyone he sees. With everyone with the same goal, saving Bella, Edward and the Cullens join forces with Jacob and other werewolves. Will they be able to save Bella? Who will Bella pick Jacob or her beloved Edward? Will Bella decide to marry Edward? Will Edward change Bella like she wants?

So far out of all of the “Twilight” movies, “Eclipse” is the best one out of all of them. There is not one moment where you are not looking forward to the next scene. The actors and actress did a wonderful job. They are starting to fit better into the skin of their characters. Bryce Dallas Howard has no problem with her character as she quietly slides into the role of Victoria. There is even enough action and suspense in the movie to keep the guys who are “forced” to watch it be entertained. It does not matter if you are a tween, teen or an adult you will like this movie. You will not even want to get up to go to the bathroom or get any refreshments.

The only downside is it would have been nice to learn more about Bree Tanner in the movie, but there is always the new book “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” to learn more about this new vampire. Or at least while she was “alive…”

Like “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” “Breaking Dawn” will be made into two separate movies. The first one is slated to hit the big screen on November 18, 2011.

Are you a fan of author Stephenie Meyer? Do you read and reread the Twilight series? If you do ( and possible if you do not), Stephenie will be coming out with a new book on June 5th. The book is called “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner.” This novella is told by Bree, who is a “newborn vampire” and featured in Stephenie Meyer’s third book in the Twilight series, “Eclipse.” This book will be around 192 pages, which will be a fast read for any Stephenie Meyer fan.

According to EW.com, Stephenie Meyer will be giving a dollar from each book that is sold to the American Red Cross International Response Fund. Also, from June 7 to July 5, you will be able to read the book online (for free) at www.breetanner.com.

On Stephenie’s website she said, “There was one thing I asked for: since this story had always been an extra for me, and was meant to be released with the guide, I wanted to be able to offer it to my fans for free. You all have bought a ton of my books, and I wanted to give you this story as a gift. My publisher was awesome and embraced this idea. We still wanted to also produce a physical book with a cool cover (see below) that you can add to your set if you like, but starting at noon on June 7th until July 5th…”

Now how great is that?

On the book front, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is suppose to be in theater’s at the end of June.

She has opened for WOW to sold out crowds in Canada and is looking forward to starring in Soulstice, a vampire saga to be released in theaters in 2011. Here’s a little more about Keana in her own words. Check out the interview and a preview video for Soulstice.

Relate: Of your many interests, which is your favorite and why?

KEANA: That’s so hard! I really love, love LOVE both singing and modeling. I’ve been modeling since I was a baby so it’s definitely one of my favorite things to do. But nothing can beat the feeling of singing and performing in front of a huge crowd! Acting is my newest passion, but it’s definitely something I would like to continue to pursue and master. I just feel blessed that I have the opportunity to do them all.

Relate: Did you write your own songs? What inspires you to write or choose the songs you sing?

KEANA: I have yet to write my first song. When you get started in this industry, you are pretty much told what image and style of music is best. It’s taken me about a year or so to find the style of music I really want to do (which has definitely changed from bubblegum pop to more of alternative pop rock with an edge). Right now, I’m working with an amazing team of songwriters and producers including award-winning Billboard master Andrew Lane (High School Musical, Hannah Montana Movie). I feel very blessed to now be given the opportunity to develop my own style and pick my own music. My musical influences are Evanescence, Within Temptation, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears. I also love some French bands. I would have to say my style is definitely a mixture of all of them put together.

Relate: What’s it like touring with WOW?

KEANA: I’m homeschooled and believeit or not, the boys and I live a very sheltered, very structured life. I must say they are 5 of my closest friends. I’ve known them since the beginning and they are like my brothers. We haven’t quite gone on a real tour, but I’ve performed withthem in several big venues like Lollipops and Rainbows, onboard the USS Midway for over 1,000 military families during the holidays, and of course most recently (and my favorite) in Toronto and Montreal.

It’s definitely an experience performing with them (sometimes a little scary) cause the girls—all the girls go crazy!!! There’s been events that had to be stopped because the girls got too out of hand and mobbed the boys. LOL. What’s so great, though, is that we have some amazing, amazing mutual fans who support both WOW and I. I am extremely thankful and grateful that they make me feel loved and welcomed especially when I perform onstage by myself. In Canada, an amazing fan (Jennifer) even brought me banana pudding!

R: Who is your biggest inspiration?

K:Definitely God and my parents. I know it’s a cliché answer, but it’s the truth :)

R: How is Soulstice different from Twilight?

K:Soulstice is very different from Twilight (which I love, by the way. . .). It actually reminds me more of the 80’s cult classic The Lost Boys which I just saw a few months ago. I absolutely LOVE that movie! I am a huge fan of 80’s movies like Stand By Me, Sixteen Candles, etc. It was when characters who are teens in the movie were actually played by real teens. They spoke and acted how teens would in real life. In my opinion, it was so much more real and easy to relate to—something we hope to bring back in Soulstice. My character, Luna Tremaine is 15; I’m 15. We are definitely going to cast people who are the same age or very close to the age of the characters, so everyone “grows” together (like in Harry Potter). Also, unlike Twilight, the storyline revolves around more vampire activity vs. human activity. You’ll see more young teen romance, yet the material is definitely more darker, edgier. . .did I mention a fight scene to “die for” in the first movie? If Bella and Laura Croft were put together, that would be Luna.

R: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

K: Hopefully in 5 years, I would have made an impact with my music and would have brought out my true personality and image. And definitely make more movies and be taken seriously as an actress.

R: If you could say one thing to your biggest fan, what would it be?

K: Believe in yourself. Age is nothing but a number. Don’t let anyone tell you that you are too young to accomplish anything. Keep your dreams alive. History is made by people who chose to defy what everyone believed. Be yourself. Live by what you believe in your heart and not by the opinions of others. Dare to be different.

Have you heard of the Twilight Guy, Kaleb Nation? This dude is totally hilarious. He started a blog a little over a year ago to document his ‘research’ into the girl-crazed Twilight phenomenon. OK, so he reads the books so slowly it’s like pulling teeth – but what else can he blog about if he finished the books in the matter of days like most of us did? Anyway, he became pracitically an instant celebrity when Stephenie Meyer heard about his site and blogged about it. He has autographed give-aways, etc.. It’s crazy. There’s a ‘new’ Twilight book that is beginning to make serious waves across the world. Sure you’ve probably read a lot of fanfiction stories that takes the Twilight character we love and puts them in different scenes, rewrites parts of the books, adds scenes thought to be missing. But Lady Sybilla has written an entire book entitled Russet Moon and she’s going to publish it. The book is all about Jacob and what happens after Breaking Dawn. Some people think it is going to be great fan fiction. Others say it is totally wrong. To get the scoop on the book check the website.

Stephenie was hesitant to move forward, but after encouragement from fans the book is her next major project. A timeline for publishing? No one knows. Want to read the first couple chapters? Stephenie posted them to her site for the world to read.
